South Medford 43-41
The game was physical from the start. Sheldon played really hard, and took time to run their sets leading to a tight, low-scoring affair all the way. Sheldons physicality forced South to misfire on offense. The Panthers battled through that and gave themselves a chance to win. Bodey Howell took advantage of that chance and made a game winning layup with 1.5 seconds to go. Jackson Weiland then stole the inbounds pass to end the game. Coach Metcalf commented that he “Loved the determination our guys had on defense” and was proud of the gutsy win.
