Timnah Roberson had 14 points and 6 steals and Jordynn Jones 12 points and 9 rebounds paced the Challengers throughout the game with one player or the other providing big buckets when needed.
It was a good game for us against our cross town rivals as our full court press was able to create a lot of turnovers. I was especially happy that players kept up the defensive pressure even after Emma Coats had to sit for a while after picking up 2 early fouls. Emma has really established herself as a good perimeter defender this season. When she went out with foul trouble I was a little worried, but Brook Akins really provided some good defensive minutes off the bench for us. Jordynn Jones scored in every quarter and Timnah did not score in the first, but had multiple field goals in quarters 2-4.
