Cascade Christian opened up an 18-point halftime lead that St. Mary’s could never overcome as the Challengers went on to win 61-44. Cascade finished a perfect 15-0 in the Far West League as they now prepare for the start of the league playoffs this Thursday. St. Mary’s will play South Umpqua in their playoff opener on Wednesday. Drew Hall had another big game with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Jaren Fronckowiak added 15 points and Payton Maurer chipped in with 12.
