The Cascade Christian girls fought hard against coquille who is one of the best teams in the state. However, we came up short 33-45. Jordynn Jones had 15 points and 10 rebounds. Emma coats had a great all around game with 7 points, 4 steals, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. Emma’s growth as a playmaker and defensive presence has continued to be a bright spot this year.
I was very happy with our defense all night. The girls were switching well and helping each other on each defensive possession. We also showed patience on offense and worked for open shots. Overall it was a great performance for our young team.
I’m very proud of every player for continuing to fight throughout the evening. We never put our heads down or gave up. We continue to improve and play together and put in the hard work necessary to compete in every game.
