Lorrin Patrick Jackson (Eagle Point), loving father, grandfather and brother passed away in his home January 1, 2023 at the age of 61. He is preceded in death by his parents William and Sarah Jackson. He is survived by daughters, Lacy (Marcus) Harju and Pody (Matthew) Leonardo, five grandchildren, Caleb and Lily Leonardo and Benjamin, Connor and Vivianna Harju, siblings Connie Rogers, Joan Bouy and Jeff Jackson and several nieces and nephews.

Pat, the quintessential last-born child to Bill and Sally Jackson could always get away with anything mischievous (with a grin) because he was the beloved baby of the family. He graduated from Eagle Point High School in 1979 then went on to work for Kogap as well as in the logging industry. In 1983 he married Dina Mead and had two daughters whom they adored, Lacy Lauren and Amanda Rose (Pody). Pat and Dina went their separate ways but always remained friends. In 1992 he decided to carry on the family tradition and became an electrician, starting his journey as an apprentice at Jackson Electric. Pat was also a member of the IBEW local 659 for 30 years.

In the early 2000’s Pat began dating Sandy (McHarge) Nelson who he shared a home with at his untimely passing. Together they were raising Sandy’s grandson, Malakai Dixon (6) whom Pat cared for deeply.
Pat was a son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather and lifelong friend. He always worked hard, was humble, unassuming, and steadfast. He was always known for coming up with ingenious solutions to life’s many obstacles. Pat loved spending time with his parents, family and friends. He loved elk camp with Pops, his brother and other family and friends, floating the Rogue River, skiing (water and snow), morel hunting and tinkering in his shop.

Pat will be staggeringly missed by those that love him.

A service will be held in Pat’s honor at 2pm on January 27th, 2023 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Eagle Point, OR. This will be followed by a private graveside service at Brownsboro Cemetery with immediate family only. Following the service, all are welcome to join us in celebrating his life at 4pm at 715 S. Shasta Avenue in Eagle Point.
