Michael was born to Norman and Wanda (Craig) Malotte in Jackson County, Oregon, on December 28, 1965. The majority of his life was spent in the Medford, Oregon, area. Some time was spent in Alaska as he attended one year at Hanshew Jr. High in Anchorage, and later worked on a fishing boat out of Seward, Alaska.
Michael’s skills and work ethics were always appreciated. He was a man of high morals, integrity, and values. His teasing sense of humor will be greatly missed. He was very proud of his family and their accomplishments.
Michael was preceded in death by his father Norman and his sister Kristine. He is survived by hiswife Lorrell, sons Brittan (Kayla) Hahn, and Sky (Sydney) Malotte, grandsons Zayn and Wyatt Malotte, his mother Wanda, sisters Kathy (Franklin) Hess and Mindi Kelly, stepmother Kathryn Eckmann, and numerous other relatives. God has called you home. Until we meet again, rest in peace Mikey!
A Celebration of life will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at the Church on The Hill in Eagle Point, OR.
