SOU beats Evergreen in men’s basketball
Atmar Mundu’s hot-shooting weekend continued and Southern Oregon’s balance kept Evergreen (Wash.) down in an 85-61 Cascade Conference win Saturday evening at the Costantino Recreation Center.
Mundu shot 7-of-9 with 18 points for the second night in a row, this time hitting 4-of-5 from beyond the arc. The senior guard scored in double figures for the 29th consecutive game, and four other Raiders joined him as they upped their record to 16-8 overall and 12-6 in the CCC.
Entering their final home games of the regular season next weekend, they stand tied for fourth place and one game back of second.
