At Grants Pass, South Medford (17-5 overall, 9-0 league) used a double double effort by Boden Howell to defeat Grants Pass (14-8 overall, 5-5 league) to clinch the SWC crown.
Boden Howell scored 19 points and snagged 11 rebounds. His counterpart Jackson Weiland scored 20 points for the panthers.
Grants Pass was able to use very tough physical play from both Luke Morgan and Mason Bennett, but the Panthers were able to pull away late in the 4th.
South Medford will next play Willamette on Friday in Eugene.
