At South Medford, the Panthers hosted the West Salem Titans in a rematch of the Abby’s Holiday Classic Championship game.

South Medford (14-5 overall) coming off of a win at South Eugene just less than 24 hours prior, used another solid night from Sophomore Boden Howell to gain redemption on West Salem (11-7 overall), defeating them 60-51.

A day after dropping a career high 40 points, Boden Howell put on another brilliant display. Boden scored 27 points, grabbed 9 rebounds, and dished out 4 assists. Junior guard Jackson Weiland scored 18 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Senior wing Deacon Edgar joined in on the rebound fiesta with 9 of his own combined with 10 points.

South Medford will next host Sheldon on Friday as SWC conference play resumes. The last time the two faced in Sheldon, it took a game winner by Boden Howell for the Panthers to win 43-41.
