At South Medford (15-5 overall, 7-0 league) Boden Howell capped of a terrific week with a 26 point performance and victory against Sheldon (7-12 overall, 3-4 league).
South Medford jumped to a 27-10 lead behind stellar play from Jackson Weiland and Boden Howell early. Sheldon then decided to come with an answer of their own and make it a 6 point game by halftime.
In the second half, it was much more of the same. Sheldon threw multiple types of zone defenses at the Panthers, but in the end, the Panthers were just too much to handle for the Sheldon Irish.
Next up, South Medford goes on the road to Roseburg in a very decisive match that could end up determining the SWC champion.
