In Eugene, South Medford (18-5 overall, 10-0 league) used a big night from Junior guard Jackson Weiland to pull away late in the SWC game.
Jackson weiland scored 30 points for the Panthers while grabbing 4 rebounds and getting 3 steals with it. Sophomore Boden Howell scored 20 points while dishing out 5 assists.
Willamette (9-14 overall, 3-8 league) who held the lead for most of the first half, used big play from their seniors, especially Shamond O’Roy to push the Panthers to the limit on their senior night.
The Panthers next host North Medford on Tuesday night followed by senior night on Friday vs South Eugene.
